Dylan Walsh began acting in high school. He performed in college plays while studying English at the University of Virginia. After graduating, he moved to New York. He landed comic roles in several TV shows such as Katie & Alley and movies like Loverboy. In the nineties, he expanded his repertoire by starring in We Were Soldiers opposite Mel Gibson. He has become well known for playing a plastic surgeon on US TV series Nip/Tuck. He has also acted in movies such as The Stepfather.
