Biography

Bruce Willis was born on a military base in Germany and raised in New Jersey. After high school, he moved to New York to pursue a career in acting. 1n 1984, he beat 3,000 actors to star alongside Cybill Shepherd in five seasons of the TV series Moonlighting. His comic TV role helped establish his movie career. He became an action hero in the Die Hard franchise. He also remains true to his comedic roots with movies including Death Becomes Her and The Whole Nine Yards.
