Ben Stiller's parents were comedians and actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. He began making his own movies at the age of ten. After years spent acting on stage, he got a break when he was given his own show, The Ben Stiller Show, which won an Emmy award. He proved his comic ability by writing, producing, directing and starring in Zoolander. He has since appeared in a range of box office hits from Meet The Parents to Tropic Thunder.
