He has since made his West End and Broadway debut in the play Equus.
Daniel Radcliffe was given access to his Harry Potter millions at the age of 18. He bought a painting by New York-based artist Jim Hodges. The artist insisted on selling it to Daniel as he is a big fan of Harry Potter. He bought the Hodges work, Mona D, Mary And Me, which is a blue ink drawing with the words "Oh for crying out loud".
In an interview with The Guardian in July 2009, he commented on his recurrent Harry Potter role by stating "they're the only films since Truffaut's Antoine Doinel series that have featured one character going from about the age of 11 to 20. To be in Truffaut's company, I'm happy with that".

He admitted to publishing poetry under a pen name. It's speculated that his pen name is Jacob Gershon dervied from his middle name and his mother's maiden name.
He has reportedly dated actress Laura O' Toole. They met when she worked as an understudy on the play Equus.
