Sarah Jessica Parker was raised by her mother. She was one of eight children. When she got stage work on Broadway her family re-located to New Jersey. She landed supporting roles in movies such as Footloose. She moved into leading roles in movies such as Mars Attacks! She found mainstream fame for her performance as Carrie in the TV series Sex And The City. She has gone on to star and produce movie versions of Sex And The City.
