Biography

Christopher Plummer grew up in the village of Senneville, Quebec in Canada. He began acting in school plays. He went on to refine his acting skills at the Canadian Repertory Theatre. Since then, he built up a solid reputation as a Shakespearean theatre actor. He also gained recognition on screen as Captain Von Trapp in The Sound Of Music in 1965. Since then, his movie repertoire has ranged from A Beautiful Mind to Up. He remains an active actor on the stage and silver screen.
