Biography

Catherine O’Hara first worked as a waitress at Second City’s comedy bar before joining the comedy troupe at the age of 20. In 1988 she got notice for her role in Beetlejuice. She is well known for her role as Macaulay Culkin’s mother in the Home Alone movies. She subsequently voiced the part of Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas. She has starred in movies ranging from The Last Of The High Kings to Away We Go. In 2007, she was inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame.
