Logan Lerman grew up in Beverly Hills. He secured an agent at the age of four. In the mid nineties he began acting in TV advertisements. In 2000 he got his big break playing Mel Gibson’s son in The Patriot and a younger version of Mel Gibson’s character in What Women Want. He went on to appear in TV shows such as Jack & Bobby and in movies like 3:10 To Yuma. He has since landed leading roles in movies including Hoot and Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief.

In an interview with Vanity Fair he said "I feel like almost the only thing I want to do in my life is to make movies. But, growing up on sets, I feel like if I go to film school I might discover that I don't need to be there to make films".
