As a child, Robert Downey Jr got his first taste of acting starring in his father Robert Downey Snr’s movies such as Pound. As a teenager, he attended performing arts summer camps. He spent the eighties starring in teen movies like Weird Science. He moved into adult roles in movies such as Chaplin. After battling his addictions, he made a comeback in movies including The Singing Detective and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He has found mainstream appeal starring in Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes.
