Biography

Kelsey Grammer was born on the US Virgin Islands. He studied acting at the Juilliard academy and the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. He was spotted by an agent while painting a director’s office. He went on to star in Shakespearean plays on Broadway. He launched his television career with Kennedy in 1983. He shot to fame playing the character Dr. Frasier Crane for over 20 years in Cheers, Frasier and Wings. Since then, he has starred in a variety of movies from Swing Vote to Fame.
