Biography

Brendan Gleeson worked in an office for two years before training at RADA. After graduating, he returned to Ireland where he studied Irish and English at University College Dublin. He worked as a teacher for ten years. At the age of 34, he embarked on a movie career. He began acting in Irish movies such as Into The West. In 1995, he got his big break in Braveheart. He has since starred in a range of movies from In Bruges to the Harry Potter franchise.
