Biography

Laurence Fishburne moved from Georgia to Brooklyn when his parents divorced. He has no formal acting training. He learned on the job from the age of ten. As a teenager, he honed his acting skills in roles ranging from TV soap opera One Life To Live to Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now. In the nineties, he proved himself in numerous movies such as What’s Love Got To Do With It. He has since gained widespread recognition as Morpheus in the Matrix movies.
