Biography

Jesse Eisenberg was born in Queens in New York and his mother was a professional clown. His acting debut was in the TV series Get Real and his first film was Roger Dodger. He explored other genres in The Village and Cursed. In 2005, he gave a critically acclaimed performance in The Squid And The Whale. He has since appeared in Adventureland, Zombieland and The Social Network.

  • Jesse Eisenberg said in an interview for Interview Magazine: “I started doing children’s theater when I was seven to get out of school because I didn’t fit in. I had a really tough time in school. And then I missed seventh grade because I just went crazy. But acting always provided some kind of consistent outlet.”
