Michael Douglas is the son of actor Kirk Douglas. He was raised by his mother and stepfather in Massachusetts. As a teenager, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and become an actor. He began his career acting in the seventies TV show The Streets Of San Francisco. In the eighties, he starred in several movies such as Romancing The Stone and Wall Street. He has since acted in a range of movies from Basic Instinct to Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past.
