As a child, Leonardo DiCaprio took performance classes during school holidays. As a teenager, he acted in educational movies such as the Mickey Safety Club and US TV series like Parenthood. In 1992 he got his big break in This Boy’s Life. Two years later, he was Oscar nominated for his role in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. He found fame starring in the lead roles in Romeo & Juliet and Titanic. He has since acted in a range of movies including The Aviator and Inception.
