Noel Clarke is an only child. He was raised by his mother, a nurse, in West London. He took classes at the London’s Actors Centre. He launched his career in the TV series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Doctor Who. In 2006, he got recognition for writing and starring in Kidulthood. He moved up the ranks to writer, director and star of its sequel, Adulthood. Since then, he has appeared in movies including Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll and Centurion. He has also co-directed the movie 4.3.2.1.
