Biography

Billy Crudup grew up in New York, Florida and Texas. He became interested in acting while studying at UCLA. He moved to New York to do an MA in acting at New York University. After graduating, he balanced acting on Broadway with roles in movies including Grind and Sleepers. In 2000 he became well known for his performance in Almost Famous. He has built up a reputation as a diverse actor starring in movies ranging from Big Fish to Watchmen.
