Biography

After finishing school, Sean Bean worked in his father’s manufacturing company and trained as a welder at Rotherham College. While at college, he became interested in acting. He earned a scholarship to RADA. After graduating in 1983, he acted in plays like A Midsummer Night’s Dream and TV shows such as Sharpe. He built up a reputation playing villains in movies including GoldenEye and National Treasure. He got global attention for playing Boromir in The Lord Of The Rings.
