Jeff Bridges learned the acting trade on his actor father Lloyd Bridges’ shoots. Aged 22, he got his big break in The Last Picture Show. He worked consistently throughout the seventies in movies such as Thunderbolt And Lightfoot. He spent the eighties and nineties starring in movies ranging from Jagged Edge to The Big Lebowski. After decades of nominations, he was awarded an Oscar for his performance in Crazy Heart in 2009.
