Biography

Gemma Arterton was raised by her mother, a cleaner. She trained as an actor at RADA on a full scholarship. She ventured into TV acting with the lead role in Tess Of The D'Urbervilles. She made her screen debut in St.Trinian’s. In 2008, she beat 1,500 other girls to play the Bond girl Strawberry Fields in Quantum Of Solace. She has since starred in a variety of movies from The Boat That Rocked to Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time.
