Biography

Amy Adams was born in Italy and raised in Colorado by her Mormon family. She wanted to be a ballerina and trained at her local dance company. She became a dancer and actress in dinner theatre productions. While off work due to a pulled muscle, she auditioned for her debut role in Drop Dead Gorgeous. When she was about to abandon her acting career, she got her Oscar-nominated role in independent movie Junebug. She has since gained commercial success in movies like Enchanted and Julie & Julia.
