Tommy (Tom Hardy) is an ex-Marine with a troubled past. His brother Brendan (Joel Edgerton) is a teacher struggling with money. They haven't spoken in years but their paths are about to cross again. Tommy has enlisted their alcoholic father (Nick Nolte) to train him for the biggest mixed martial arts tournament ever. Brendan has reluctantly entered the contest to solve his money troubles. Either brother could go all the way in the tournament, but to win, they must face each other. Some strong language & boxing violence.
