Directed by Madonna. In 1936 a Royal scandal rocked the world. King Edward VIII left the throne to be with his true love, American divorcee Wallis Simpson. Now, Wally Winthrop (Abbie Cornish) investigates the scandal to find out the truth about their relationship. Wally thought the relationship was the ultimate romantic story. But when she delves into the past she finds out that the relationship was far from perfect. With James D'Arcy and Andrea Riseborough. Strong language, once very strong, brief nudity and scenes of domestic violence.
