Lawyer Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) has been raising his four-year-old-son alone ever since his wife died while giving birth. Arthur has been given the task of selling an old manor house in a remote village. He has to leave his son at home and move into the rundown mansion. Arthur is made to feel most unwelcome by the villagers who appear to be hiding a terrifying secret. When he is finally alone Arthur discovers the truth about the mansion. With Ciaran Hinds.
