Welshman Howard Marks (Rhys Ifans) was studying at Oxford University when he started selling weed. He gradually sold larger amounts until he was importing the drug on a huge scale. Marks got mixed up with the IRA, was recruited by a British Intelligence officer and broke into the notoriously cutthroat American drug market. Marks went on to become one of the most well-known criminals and most wanted men in Europe. With David Thewlis and Crispin Glover. Frequent drugs use, strong nudity and sex.
