Middle-aged Larry Crowne (Tom Hanks) loses his job after many years of hard work. Without a regular income he is in danger of losing his house. He decides to enrol in his local community college so he can get a job. As soon as he signs up Larry's life immediately begins to change. He meets a gang of misfits, starts riding a moped and falls for one of his teachers (Julia Roberts). With Cedric the Entertainer, Pam Grier and George Takei. Moderate bad language and scenes of a sexual nature.
