Sonny (Adam Sandler) is a layabout with no responsibilities or plans. His girlfriend has dumped him because he can't commit to a future together. So when a five-year old boy turns up on his doorstep, claiming to be his roommate's son, he adopts him to win back his ex. The authorities realise that Sonny is not his roommate and chase him down. At first Sonny would have been happy to turn himself in, but he gradually warms to the idea of being a dad. Contains sexual references, drug references and mild language.
